Essays, interviews & projects
Send a brief outline of your subject, the argument or perspective you wish to develop, and a few words about yourself. Links to previous writing, a trailer or a project page are welcome. Please say whether a finished piece has appeared elsewhere.
Our interests include independent British genre film, performance, theatre, visual art and the wider Gothic imagination. A distinctive argument is more useful than a lengthy promotional introduction.
Press releases & news tips
Include the essential facts, relevant dates and a contact for follow-up questions. Please make any deadline or embargo clear. For photographs or publicity stills, provide a download link, the required credit and any restrictions on use.
Submissions are considered on their editorial merits; sending material does not guarantee coverage. If a tip requires confidential handling, ask us to agree a suitable way to receive it before sending sensitive documents.
Letters & corrections
Responses to our articles and reasoned disagreements are welcome. For a correction, include the article link, the passage concerned and supporting information. Please state whether your letter is intended for publication or for the editors alone.

For help with the mailing list or a privacy enquiry, write to letters@britishhorrorstudio.com. Contacting the editors does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
