The In the Grip of Terror trailer has been presented exclusively by Dread Central, ahead of the picture’s British theatrical engagements.
Writing for the American horror publication, Mr Brad Miska identifies the production as the first new Amicus horror feature in more than four decades. The anthology draws upon the work of H. P. Lovecraft, Ambrose Bierce and E. F. Benson, continuing the company’s association with literary tales of the macabre.
The cast includes Golden Globe nominee Miss Jane Merrow, Mr Laurence R. Harvey and Miss Megan Tremethick. The trailer offers an introduction to the new production before its arrival in cinemas.
The Chronicle has previously reported upon the return of Amicus to British screens. In the Grip of Terror forms part of the inaugural BHS Picture House programme, alongside Black Chariot, whose trailer and forthcoming cinema engagements were recently examined in these pages.
Readers may watch the teaser in Dread Central’s report linked above.
Our sister publication, Amicus Horror, also reports on the In the Grip of Terror trailer and its Dread Central unveiling.
